The Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB), Division-I, has made it compulsory for students who failed the HSLC Examination 2026 to secure re-admission to Class 10 before reappearing for the board exams. The notification also allows elective subject changes before the half-yearly examination, while retaining students’ original registration numbers and outlining alternative school admission options where necessary.
