Two suspected shooters wanted in the murder of Haryanvi singer and YouTuber Ankit Balyan were killed in a police encounter in Uttar Pradesh’s Shamli, police said. The accused, Mohit and Sumit, both from Sonipat, were carrying a reward of ₹50,000 each. Police said the two allegedly opened fire after being intercepted on Kairana Road, leading to retaliatory firing. Ankit Balyan was shot dead outside a gym in Shamli on August 26 after four assailants allegedly opened fire on him from two motorcycles. Police have intensified checks and are investigating the murder.
