The US Department of the Treasury and the UK’s HM Treasury have unveiled joint recommendations to strengthen cooperation on tokenised finance and stablecoins. Developed through the Transatlantic Task Force for the Markets of the Future, the proposals call for coordinated regulatory approaches, industry-led testing of cross-border tokenised assets, and aligned stablecoin standards. The initiative reflects growing efforts by both countries to shape interoperable digital asset markets while supporting financial stability.
