If this is true, then the smartphone could be changing its launch schedule for its next-generation handsets. For reference, the Xiaomi 17 was launched in China last year on the same day as the Xiaomi 17 Pro and Xiaomi 17 Pro Max. This is similar to Apple’s rumoured launch schedule for this, where the tech giant is expected to first launch the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max in September, and unveil the standard iPhone 18 early next year.
