Arizona’s crypto ATM consumer protection law has helped 35 scam victims recover a combined $171,332 (roughly Rs. 1.6 crore) since taking effect in September 2025. Attorney General Kris Mayes urged victims to report fraudulent transactions within the law’s 30-day window to qualify for refunds. The law also places daily transaction limits on crypto ATM users, while the state’s recovery figures arrive amid rising fraud involving cryptocurrency kiosks across the US.
