Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) Chief Spokesperson Saurav Das questioned the use of pellet guns during the 20 July student protest, arguing that the demonstration was peaceful and did not warrant such force. Reacting to the Supreme Court hearing, Das said the Court should closely examine whether the circumstances justified the use of pellet guns and the injuries suffered by protesters. He also called for accountability over the police action and said the Amit Shah should answer questions about the handling of the protest.
