WhatsApp has reportedly begun rolling out a home screen widget for voice messages to some Android beta testers. A new report claims that the feature is available with WhatsApp beta for Android version 2.26.30.2 and opens a dedicated recording interface with controls to pause, resume, discard or confirm recordings. It is also said to let users send the same voice note to multiple recipients from a contact picker, while an in-chat prompt is reportedly being introduced to improve discovery of the widget.
