Speaking to NDTV on the 16th day of his indefinite hunger strike, Jharkhand student leader Devendra Nath Mahto reiterated the demand for a CBI probe into alleged JPSC irregularities but stressed that an investigation alone is not enough. Calling for a fast-track trial and wider reforms, he said students are fighting for a complete overhaul of a system that has failed to deliver accountability despite multiple past inquiries.
