The TVK has criticised the DMK’s decision to boycott Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay’s all-party meeting on delimitation, saying it is “unfortunate” that the party has chosen to stay away from discussions on a key issue affecting the state’s interests. Tamil Nadu Minister K.G. Arunraj pointed out that TVK had backed the DMK government and participated in a similar all-party meeting on delimitation last year, adding that people expect political parties to present a united front on the issue.
