A disturbing case of alleged moral policing has emerged from Sinhagad Fort near Pune, where tourists were reportedly assaulted over their clothing. The confrontation allegedly began after an eight-year-old girl was seen wearing shorts and escalated into nearly two hours of violence involving tourists, including women, children and elderly people. Nine people have been booked in connection with the incident, with the visuals raising serious questions over vigilantism and self-appointed moral policing.
