Activist Sonam Wangchuk, who was preparing to lead a protest march to Parliament, was taken from the site of his indefinite hunger strike at Jantar Mantar by Delhi Police and shifted to Safdarjung Hospital. Following his hospitalisation, his wife Gitanjali J Angmo told NDTV that Wangchuk remains on hunger strike and is consuming only water and salt.
