Activist Sonam Wangchuk was discharged from Medanta Hospital in Gurugram on July 27, bringing an end to his hospital stay after days of medical observation and treatment. According to his team, Wangchuk will next visit Rajghat in New Delhi to pay homage to Mahatma Gandhi before departing for Ladakh. The Rajghat visit is being viewed as a symbolic gesture reflecting Wangchuk’s long-standing emphasis on non-violence, peaceful public engagement and democratic participation.
