
Dr Ritika Aima, an MBBS graduate from Uttarakhand, cleared the UPSC Civil Services Examination twice, first securing AIR 186 to join the IPS before improving to AIR 33 and achieving her dream of becoming an IAS officer. Motivated by a desire to influence healthcare through policymaking, she chose public administration over clinical practice. Now serving in the Gujarat cadre, she encourages aspirants to stay resilient, keep a Plan B and pursue purpose-driven careers.
