An old water tank suddenly collapsed during heavy rain in Uttar Pradesh’s Ghazipur, triggering panic in the area. A school vehicle was passing by the site when the structure came crashing down but narrowly escaped being hit, averting a major accident. No injuries were reported, but locals said the tank was in a dilapidated condition and have urged authorities to inspect other ageing water tanks and restore the affected water supply system.
