From commanding the Indian Air Force’s Western Air Command during Operation Sindoor to becoming the first CEO of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, retired Air Marshal Jitendra Mishra has taken on a dramatically different role. Mishra, who retired from the Indian Air Force in April 2026 after nearly four decades of service, has held several key positions during his career as a fighter pilot, commander and test pilot.
