Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Russian President Vladimir Putin met on the sidelines of the SCO Summit in Bishkek, reaffirming the strength of India-Russia ties amid global uncertainty. While Modi reiterated India’s support for dialogue and a peaceful resolution to the Ukraine conflict, the two leaders also reviewed cooperation in defence, energy and strategic sectors ahead of their next meeting at the BRICS Summit in Delhi.
