Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has sharply criticised the chaos at Rahul Gandhi’s recent student event, calling it a “pre-planned political strategy” and alleging that the programme was more about event management than public dialogue. Fadnavis claimed students from Congress-linked colleges were given early entry and alleged that influencers were offered ₹30,000 to attend and post only positive content. The BJP has accused Congress of using students and influencers for political messaging, while the Congress has hit back, alleging that such tactics are used by the BJP. The controversy comes ahead of Rahul Gandhi’s student interaction in Pune under the ‘Chhatron Ki Goonj’ campaign.
