An IIT Guwahati official has spoken to NDTV following the death of a student from Odisha on the institute’s campus. The institute expressed grief over the student’s death and said it is fully cooperating with the police investigation. Officials confirmed that the student’s parents have been informed and are travelling from Odisha. The mortal remains will be handed over to the family after the postmortem.
