The flood situation in Odisha’s Jajpur district has turned critical after seven river breaches inundated large parts of the district, affecting more than one lakh people across nearly 250 villages.
Rescue teams are working round the clock as thousands of residents have been evacuated from low-lying areas to safer locations and relief camps. Floodwaters have disrupted normal life, damaged infrastructure, and left many villages cut off.
