The Centre has launched a sweeping overhaul of the National Testing Agency (NTA) following repeated examination controversies. The reforms include replacing 600 experts, introducing four-stage question-paper scrutiny and strengthening office security with CISF personnel. The move follows the NEET-UG paper leak row and errors in UGC-NET papers, with the government seeking to restore students’ confidence in the examination system.
