Nothing Phone 1, the first smartphone from Carl Pei-led tech firm, is now receiving its last OS major OS update, the company announced on Thursday. The update brings Android 15 to the handset, along with “general improvements and bug fixes” and the latest security patch. With this, the smartphone has completed its software lifecycle, during which it received three major OS upgrades and security updates for four years. The handset was launched in India in July 2022. The handset shipped with the Android 12-based Nothing OS 1 version.
