Nepal is racing against time to rescue survivors after devastating flash floods left a trail of death and destruction across the country. The death toll has crossed 270, with dozens injured and hundreds rescued as the Nepal Army, police and armed forces intensify search and relief operations.
Specially trained sniffer and rescue dogs are helping teams search through debris for possible survivors, while army helicopters are being used to reach isolated villages and areas cut off by washed-away roads and bridges.
