A 28-year-old Nepalese man suffered over 70% burn injuries after allegedly coming into contact with an overhead electric (OHE) line while standing atop the Mangala Express at Itarsi Junction in Madhya Pradesh’s Narmadapuram district. The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital before being referred to the district hospital due to the severity of his injuries. A video of the incident has surfaced, raising fresh concerns over railway safety and trespassing near high-voltage overhead power lines.
