The Jharkhand student protest has taken on a distinctly cultural character as Santhali folk artists and traditional performers arrive at the protest site in Ranchi to express solidarity with the students. At Jaipal Singh Munda Stadium, the sounds of traditional tribal songs, Chota Nagpur folk music and indigenous musical instruments now accompany the ongoing agitation against alleged irregularities in JPSC and JSSC recruitment exams.
