A major security crackdown is underway across Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district against a suspected network linked to the banned Jamaat-e-Islami (JeI). Security forces and investigating agencies are conducting searches at 26 locations in connection with a UAPA case concerning the banned organisation.
