External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar is on a two-day official visit to Russia, arriving in Moscow on August 23. During the visit, Jaishankar will co-chair the 27th India-Russia Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technological and Cultural Cooperation with Russian Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov. He is also scheduled to meet Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov. The two leaders are expected to discuss regional and global developments, including the Russia-Ukraine war and the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.
