The son of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Public Relations Officer Dr Nalini Ranjan was allegedly attacked by two neighbours in Dwarka on August 26. The university said Harshit Ranjan was assaulted with a sharp object following a confrontation over an alleged incident involving a pet dog. He was taken to Indira Gandhi Hospital for treatment. The university also alleged a delay in medical treatment and said police have recorded statements from both parties without registering an FIR so far.
