IGNOU has introduced one-year master’s programmes for graduates of four-year undergraduate programmes, offering a faster route to postgraduate education in nine disciplines, including Economics, History, English and Journalism. The move aligns with NEP 2020’s flexible education framework. Meanwhile, the university has extended the July 2026 admission and re-registration deadline to August 16.
