Former Tehelka magazine founder Tarun Tejpal has reacted after being sentenced to 10 years’ imprisonment in the 2013 sexual assault case. Calling himself “a political victim,” Tejpal said he was “very much disappointed” with the verdict and claimed there was enough evidence to exonerate him. He also alleged that the case was politically motivated and announced that he would challenge the judgment in the Supreme Court.
