Honda has officially unveiled the Rebel 300 and Rebel 300 E-Clutch in India, marking the arrival of its entry-level cruiser motorcycle for the Indian market. Even better, Honda has confirmed that the motorcycle will be manufactured in India and launched later this year.
The Rebel 300 brings classic bobber-inspired styling with a low-slung stance, round LED headlamp, teardrop fuel tank, wide handlebar, forward-set footpegs, and a blacked-out engine and exhaust setup. The minimalist design stays true to the Rebel family while offering a modern cruiser experience.
Powering the motorcycle is a 286cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine producing around 27 bhp and 26.6 Nm, paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The biggest highlight, however, is the availability of Honda’s innovative E-Clutch technology, which allows riders to start, stop, and shift gears without operating the clutch lever while still retaining manual clutch functionality whenever needed.
Honda is also expected to equip the Rebel 300 with full-LED lighting, a digital instrument cluster, dual-channel ABS, assist and slipper clutch, and Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC).
