Mahroof Ahmed Khan, who secured AIR 32 in JEE Advanced, surprised many by declining a coveted Computer Science seat at IIT Bombay to study alongside his twin brother, Masroor Ahmed Khan, at IIT Kanpur. Masroor, who secured AIR 169, could not secure the same branch at IIT Bombay. The brothers, who prepared together throughout their JEE journey, chose companionship over prestige, highlighting the importance of family, collaboration and shared success alongside academic achievement.
