Google Photos is reportedly testing a map-based interface for Ask Photos that could organise search results by location. The feature was spotted in an unreleased app version and may show groups of photos as numbered clusters across a map. Users could zoom into areas and open individual clusters to see related images. Google already provides a separate map view through Collections, while Apple’s Photos app has a similar feature. The new implementation would instead integrate location browsing directly with Ask Photos searches.
