According to top sources in govt, Foxconn executives have surveyed the plot of land near Sanand and the company will take a call on finalising the location in the coming weeks. “The company intends to set up a mobile phone and other high-end electronics manufacturing plant,” a senior state govt official said, clarifying that Gujarat is not the only state being considered by the company for the new project.
