The political face-off between the DMK and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay has intensified after a DMK supporter was arrested in an alleged online harassment case and later granted bail. The complaint was filed by a TVK supporter who claimed she was abused online for posting content backing Vijay. Reacting to the arrest, the DMK accused Vijay’s camp of being intolerant of dissent and attempting to suppress youth voices and free thought.
