Delhi Police Data Triggers Debate Over Who Attended Protest March | NEET CJP Protest

A fresh controversy has erupted after Delhi Police released figures claiming that thousands of individuals facing criminal cases were present during the Parliament march and at the Jantar Mantar protest site. According to police data, 2,873 people with pending criminal cases were identified using CCTV footage and facial recognition systems. The figures include individuals facing charges linked to murder, attempt to murder, robbery, dacoity, arms offences, narcotics cases, kidnapping and other serious crimes.
