Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Saturday commissioned Mahendragiri, the sixth Project 17A indigenous stealth frigate, into the Indian Navy’s Eastern Fleet here, marking another milestone in India’s journey towards defence self-reliance and indigenous warship construction.
