Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren launched a sharp attack on the BJP, accusing it of pursuing “money politics” and alleging that Central Government policies have hurt employment opportunities for young people. Soren also defended his government’s efforts on jobs and recruitment, claiming that a large majority of selected candidates in state examinations are indigenous to Jharkhand.
