Bybit says its security systems prevented more than $700 million (roughly Rs. 6,699 crore) in potential losses during the first half of 2026. The exchange blocked over 30,000 suspicious withdrawals and identified around $212 million (roughly Rs. 2,029 crore) in potentially fraudulent funds. The measures follow the $1.46 billion (roughly Rs. 13,978 crore) hack suffered by Bybit in February 2025, which prompted the exchange to strengthen its blockchain monitoring and AI-assisted security systems.
