Another arrest has been made on Saturday as part of the ongoing joint international operation against jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi.
The Canadian government has started the extradition process of the accused and Bishnoi-gang operative Garinder Dev who was arrested in France.
The US Department of Justice has alleged Garinder’s link to criminal networks.
Meanwhile, a deportation order has already been issued against Bishnoi gang associate Jashandeep Singh who was an accused in shootings
occurred at cafe owned by comedian Kapil Sharma.
The authorities in the United States have announced what they describe as the “largest-ever” action against India-based transnational organised crime networks. Under a joint international operation named Operation Hard Ball, law enforcement agencies from the United States, Canada and parts of Europe have arrested several suspects.
