Assam Officer Climbs Tree, Enjoys Guava During Inspection

Goalpara District Commissioner Pradip Timung and Divisional Forest Officer Tejas Mariswamy inspected the Paikan Reserve Forest, where the area has seen a return of natural vegetation and fruit-bearing trees planted to provide food for wild elephants. The forest has also witnessed elephant movement following the eviction drive. During the inspection, Timung turned nostalgic on spotting ripe hog plums, climbing a tree to pluck and taste the fruit, and sharing it with fellow forest officials.
