1Password has introduced 1Password for Claude, a new integration that allows Anthropic’s AI assistant to sign in to websites without accessing users’ passwords or one-time passcodes. The feature relies on biometric approval and securely fills credentials stored in a user’s 1Password vault. The company also announced Agentic Mode, which limits AI agents to approved credentials during browser sessions. The integration is available for Mac users on Business, Family and Individual plans, with support for more data types planned later.
