The Supreme Court has sought the Centre’s response over alleged irregularities in CBSE’s Class 12 on-screen marking system, expressing concern that flaws in digital evaluation may be causing distress to students. Hearing a PIL seeking reforms and relief for affected candidates, the court directed the government to submit a status report, while noting that a commission is already examining the system.
