A tipster claims some manufacturing lines could suspend around one-third of their capacity after Apple reportedly reassessed demand expectations. The report attributes the move to rising hardware costs, which could affect demand for the entry-level model. Apple has not confirmed the claims. Previous reports also suggested the company had already lowered iPhone 17 production expectations by around 15 percent.
