A major alleged theft has come to light at the Ram Temple Trust, with sources telling NDTV that ₹2–3 crore was stolen from temple donations over several months. According to sources, the accused allegedly began by taking a few ₹500 notes before escalating to bundles of cash. Investigators believe seven of the eight accused purchased properties using the stolen money, while jewellery worth ₹89 lakh has been recovered during searches. Police are now examining the accused’s financial trail and assets as the investigation continues.
