Norwegian Crown Prince Haakon joined thousands of jubilant fans outside the royal palace in Oslo to celebrate Norway’s historic 2-1 win over Brazil in the FIFA World Cup Round of 16. Wearing a Norway scarf, the Crown Prince took part in a mass “Viking Row” alongside fans as an estimated 50,000 people watched the match at RÃ¥dhusplassen, the square outside Oslo’s town hall, with reports suggesting over 100,000 fans hit the capital’s streets in celebration overall. The win, powered by a second-half brace from Erling Haaland, marks Norway’s best-ever World Cup finish and their first appearance at the tournament since 1998.
