Telangana approves 5,000 police vacancies, TSLPRB to begin direct recruitment process across key police cadres

As per media reports, the Telangana government has approved the direct recruitment of 5,000 police personnel across multiple cadres. The recruitment will be conducted by the Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board after receiving cadre-wise vacancy details, roster points and eligibility criteria from the home department and the Director General of Police. The approved vacancies include sub-inspectors, assistant sub-inspectors, civil and Armed Reserve constables, besides driver and mechanic posts before recruitment notifications are issued.
