RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat spoke about India’s unity and diversity during an address in New York, saying diversity must be celebrated, respected and accepted while preserving a sense of oneness. Citing Swami Vivekananda, Bhagwat said Bharat’s mission is to help the world realise the idea of unity in diversity. His remarks drew a political response from CJP leader Abhijeet Dipke, who said the BJP should pay heed to Bhagwat’s message. Dipke argued that the BJP has begun to think it has grown bigger than the RSS and cited Bhagwat’s comments on inclusivity and his earlier remarks on Gen Z protesters.
