Two college students from Mumbai and Maharashtra have turned a simple Indian ‘gamcha’ into an innovative cooling towel designed to protect outdoor workers from extreme heat. Their startup, Chill Ho, uses patented hydrogel technology to provide longer-lasting cooling without leaving the towel soaking wet. The young innovators pitch their idea on the Vande Bharatam platform, seeking Rs 1 crore in funding to scale production and reach delivery workers, farmers and construction workers across India. The pitch earns them mentorship and financial support from Jeet Adani.
