Rhiya Ahir, also known as Rhiya Ekousiya, is a Mumbai-based model, actor and entrepreneur who gained nationwide attention after a July 2026 student protest in Mumbai. A viral video showed her standing in front of a police van carrying detained protesters at Shivaji Park. Ahir, 27, studied Psychology before pursuing an English Literature degree through distance education. She has also trained extensively in theatre and founded Rhiyasat, a luxury handcrafted apparel label supporting Indian artisans.
