From PM Modi’s Instagram-style videos to Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi’s youth-focused outreach and Mohan Bhagwat’s “clock it” moment, everyone seems to want a ticket on the Gen Z train. But is this really what young Indians want? The bigger message may be far simpler: don’t patronise us, don’t manufacture relatability – listen to us. Because Gen Z may not need politicians to speak its language. It needs them to hear it.
